The 37 -year -old man was arrested at the Tân Sơn NHấT International Airport in the city of Ho Chi Minh in July 2023 with more than 2 kg of hard drugs.

The drugs were discovered hidden in Nduta’s suitcase when they arrived in the country in southern Asia while they were in transit to Laos.

Speaking to Citizen TV, from his town in Murang’a County, Wangari, disconsolate, narrated how a man only identified himself as Njoroge gave his daughter the suitcase that contained drugs.

“Hiyo Mzigo Alipatikana Nayo Alipewa njoroge Akamwambia Appelekee Mama Mwengine Na Akirudi atampea Kitu Amrudishie (the luggage with which he was found belonged to Njoroge, who told another woman and when he returned, he returned something to bring him back),” he said.
