Man accused of murder after the death of women in cottingley

A 45 -year -old man was accused of murder, after the death of a woman who was seriously injured on a residential property on Tuesday morning.

The West Yorkshire police responded to a report of a concern for security in a direction at Airedale Avenue in Cottingley, Bingley, approximately 10.43 on March 11.

An ambulance was called, but Michelle Egge-Bailey, 54, was declared dead in the scene, police said.

Stephen Lawton, 45, of no fixed dwelling, has been accused of murder and must appear before the Bradford magistrates court later.
