Adolescent sexually attacked in TUBE in a terror attack forcing other passengers to intervene, while the police release CCTV

The police have published images of CCTV after a teenager was sexually assaulted in the tube.

The assault took place aboard a train from the north line between Stockwell and South Wimbledon on February 19.

Around 11.15 pm, a man made sexual comments to a teenager.

Then he sat next to him and sexually assaulted her, British transport police said.

Other passengers intervened and the man left the service in South Wimbledon, the police said.

The BTP has now published images of a man who believe he can have information that could help his research.

The police urged anyone with information or to witness the attack to present themselves.

Any person who recognizes man in the CCTV, or who has other information, must communicate with the British transport police sending text messages 61016.
