Alabama governor issues an emergency state for all counties – Valley Times -News

The governor of Alabama issues an emergency state for all counties

Governor Kay Ivey has issued an emergency state for The 67 counties Before the severe climate of this weekend.

Governor Ivey also issued the following comment:

“The state of Alabama is at risk of a potentially dangerous and severe climate during this weekend, so it is essential that everyone stays very aware of their local forecasts. Now is the time to make any preparation and have a plan, if the climatic conditions become dangerous. Certainly, we are not oblivious to the anger of Mother Nature, but I encourage Alabamians to be vigilant from tonight. Keep the conscious climate and keep sure! ” – Governor Kay Ivey

The state of emergency will enter into force Today at 2:00 PM Central and will remain in force during the duration of the state of emergency. Alabama’s law specifies that an emergency state will normally last 60 days; However, it can be ended earlier by written proclamation.
