Molly McCann: Paddy Pimblett has dropped the ‘madness’ before the Michael Chandler test that defines the race

Molly McCann Your teammate says Paddy Pimblett has dropped the ‘madness’ while preparing for a Definition shock potentially inherited against Michael Chandler.

Pimblet They face Chandler next month in UFC 314 in Miami in what, without a doubt, is the biggest fight of his career so far.

But after years of making a name as a strong and shameless personality, McCann says that “Paddy The Baddy” is ready to let his fight speak when he reaches the top of his powers.

“The pressure makes diamonds and my son is a big and big diamond,” he said. “This is all he has dreamed of his life. I don’t think bright lights will come.

“I think he has learned his lessons in previous fights. Especially with Tony Ferguson, I think it was a big thing. Having (Donald) Trump in the crowd, being there on that card, knows the exercise.

“He meets Chandler at the perfect time, he is going up in every way. Look at his body, 30 years old, it is not green in sport, and he will only enter there and absolutely do the job.

“He is no longer exploding (between fights). He has two girls who are one in May or April. He has grown up. He doesn’t say madness, well, he still says a little madness. But no, he knows the sport.

“He knows how everyone knows them. He knows, of course, I will have most of us. And he is authentic with the way he is doing it. At the time he is on the table, he is 100 percent to the second that is outside that mat, and seven rounds of five minutes ago with new partners every Tuesday, every Thursday.

“He doesn’t run out of breath, and it’s just an absolute monster. I can’t wait. I really think this will be the great career defining him for him, where people can see who he really is, in each part of his game. I will be there in Miami.”

McCann is back in action this weekend while taking Alexia Thainara in UFC London. Thainara intervened in the last minute to face Liverpudlian in what will be his promotional debut, after the original opponent is also retired.

McCann enters the fight for a defeat against Bruna Brazil and faces a difficult challenge against Thainara, which is 11-1.

She is confident that she can do the business as the most experienced fighter, however, knowing firsthand the speed with which the verifications of reality can reach the UFC.

“In my UFC debut, I thought it was the B **** KS and Gillian Robertson humiliated me,” he said. “The percentage of debutants when they leave, is not always that they win because they are trapped in the program.

“I’m not going to trust that with my opponents. I really hope someone comes for me all the way. I don’t think anyone thinks, ‘Oh, just because it’s his first, his head could leave a little.’

“She has not come worldwide with a one -day warning to simply invent numbers. He has come to take her head.”
