TOWest Midlands Police Detective has described the fact that the couple did not seriously hurt a “miracle.”

Det with Reece Markham, of the main crime unit of the Force, said: “Tyrese Mignott went on purpose to cause damage and is a miracle that no one was seriously injured.

“Mignott will be behind bars for many years thanks to the good work of officers who spent countless hours reviewing CCTV images and making other consultations.

“We have taken another dangerous individual from our streets while we continue to identify the criminals involved in serious and organized crimes.”

The property was damaged, but no one was injured when the shots were shot in a direction on Saturday, May 11 of last year.

CCTV images captured a verbal row between two men before a round of ammunition to the direction was shot, losing the victim little.

The bullet hit the main door leaving a bullet hole. Mignott then fled on foot in the direction of Perry Avenue.

When reviewing the CCTV images, the police tracked their movements and found a clear image of their face. Police raided Mignott’s house, where they recovered bullet covers and ball bearings that were believed to be linked to the shooting.

Mignott was declared guilty of having a firearm with the intention of endangering life after a trial earlier this month. He admitted the possession of a firearm and ammunition and possession of class A and class B drugs at a previous audience.
