‘Travel could be dangerous for impossible’ in parts of Michigan with winter storm warnings

Marquete, Mi – A large section of the central and eastern upper peninsula is under the warning warnings today, since a storm of the late season that brings up to 12 inches of heavy snow, and is expected that the winds racked are expected to cause the drifting on the roads.

Nevada rates could reach 2 inches per hour, with development blackout conditions on some state roads and roads, said the National Meteorological Service.

“A winter storm at the end of the season will bring moderate snow to strong and strong winds to portions of the center of the center and east of Michigan this afternoon until tonight. The worst conditions are expected to begin at the end of this afternoon and have moved southeast with the last prognosis,” said NWS meteorologists on Marquette.

“The combination of strong winds and heavy and humid snow will result in difficult travel conditions and possible power cuts.”

“Traveling could be dangerous to impossible in tonight’s places; especially along M-28 of Marquette to Munishing, where frequent bleackers are possible.”
