Nagpur: The Prime Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, said Tuesday that Chhaava’s film by Vicky Kaushal led to anger among people against the Mogol ruler of the 17th century, Aurangzeb, when he said that the violence that seized the city of Nagpur seems to be a previous planned conspiracy.

Violence broke out in several areas of Nagpur, Maharashtra and Stones threw themselves into police staff. Several houses, vehicles and a clinic have been destroyed in violence after which the curfew was imposed in several areas of the city of Nagpur.

Specific houses were directed: cm Fadnavis

Speaking at the Maharashtra Assembly, Fadnavis said: “The mafia went to specific houses and establishments. He (the attack) seems to be a premeditated conspiracy.”

Maharashtra CM Fadnavis, who also has the source portfolio, said that 33 police personnel, including three police attached commissioners, were injured in violence, and one of the senior officials was attacked with an ax.

The main minister, who also has the source portfolio, said that those who attacked the police personnel will not be saved.

Cm blames Chhaava for anger against Aurengzeb

CM Fadnavis cited the movie Chhaava for ‘anger’ in people for Aurangzeb. “Chhava’s film has lit people’s anger against Aurangzeb. Even so, everyone must keep Maharashtra Pacifica,” Fadnavis said in his speech in the Legislative Assembly.

Throwed on February 14, the film directed by Laxman Utekar is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of the founder of the marathrha chhatrapati shivaji Maharaj empire. Kaushal stars in the titular role, while actor Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife, Yesubai. The film, which comes from Maddock Films, has accumulated more than 550 million rupees at the national box office.

Social networks used to feed violence: Minister

Nagpur Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that social networks were used to vitiate the atmosphere. “Social networks were used to vitiate the atmosphere and there was no failure in part of the department of origin, since the police stopped as a shield between the Hindu and Muslim communities (during violence), in which several police officers also injured themselves,” he said.

The police commissioner of the city of Nagpur de Maharashtra, Ravinder Singgal, said Tuesday that around 50 people have been arrested and 5 FIRS have been housed. “The police have arrested more than 50 people and registered five FIR in several police stations in relation to violence,” he said.
