2 seriously injured in the accident in NW Portland

Portland, Oregon (KPTV) – Two people were transferred to a hospital on Tuesday morning after an accident in Northwest Portland.

Just before 8 am, emergency teams responded to a crash in Northwest Cornelius Pass Road, south of Northwest Skyline Boulevard. The teams arrived at the scene and found an accident of two vehicles with a trapped person.

Talatin Valley Fire & Rescue says that two people were taken in ambulance to hospitals in the area with serious injuries.

The Cornelius Pass Hwy, or 127 is closed between us 30 and Old Cornelius Rd. Due to a clash. This could be an extended closure. Use an alternative route. Visit For updates.

NW Cornelius Pass Road was closed for several hours, while emergency teams were on stage.

The Oregon State Police leads the investigation of the accident. No other details have been published at this time.
