Josh Hart reacts to the tragic news of Karl-Anthony Towns after Clippers-Knicks

While Karl-Anthony Towns had great consumption in Los Angeles that he faced with the Lakers and Clippers, there was a much greater problem in his mind.

This week, the cities and his girlfriend Jordyn Woods lost a close personal friend due to cancer. It was the reason he lost the Knicks game against the Warriors on Tuesday night. In his absence, he had to deal with some controversial comments of critics such as Chris Broussard and Draymond Green.

After the clippers faced the New York Knicks on Friday night, Towns teammate, Josh Hart, spoke on behalf of his teammate.

“It’s hard. Many of you forget that we are human,” said Hart. “Or you look at us as if we are animals in a zoo or a Parlay and forget that we are real people, that we have real life problems and traumas and things so we have to navigate.”

Although Towns was dealing with the tragedy, he still found a way to play against the Lakers and Clippers on Thursday and Friday. Hart and the Knicks know what Towns is about on the court.

“We give him a lot of credit, we are there for him, and I think everyone has to take that into account when they see things,” Hart said. “People say stupid things when they don’t understand and … we are human.”

Unfortunately for the New York Knicks, the team is already in its star player Jalen Brunson. Now is the time for Karl-Anthony Towns to try his absence, unfortunately, he arrived at a very bad time.
