Amazon is virtually giving away one of our favorite SFF mechanical keyboards

Everest Mountain 60 is one of our 60 percent favorite keyboards Due to its clever modular design and overall careful detailing, and for some ridiculous reason, its price was reduced to just $30 on Amazon US. We’re not sure why that is, but the bottom line is this: simply buy one. It’s a really brilliant keyboard and beats pretty much everything else at this price.

As the name suggests, it’s a 60 percent layout option, giving you the alphanumeric keys you need and little else: no navigation group or function row. However, the Everest 60 comes with arrow keys, which provides a bit more functionality than other keyboards with the same layout. Otherwise, it looks and feels great with an aluminum faceplate for durability, while this keyboard also comes with extra-durable double-shot PBT keycaps composed of quality plastics with legends that will never fade. On a keyboard at this price, that’s really good.

Of course, there’s per-key RGB lighting, while Mountain’s Base Camp software provides useful customization for RGB lighting and key functions. The Everest 60 also benefits from Mountain’s ingenious modularity. The keyboard can have a numeric keypad attached almost at will to give you the convenience of a numeric keypad along with a small design keyboard that can be detached and attached for maximum flexibility. You can also choose from three USB-C ports to connect the board, which is handy.

While Mountain keyboards in the past have featured Cherry MX switches, this Everest 60 opts for Mountain’s own switches. In this particular variant, it comes with lubricated Tactile55 switches for comfortable and tactile operation, although it is available with Linear switches45 if you prefer a more fluid experience. Combined with this, there are several layers of foam and sound damping which, combined with lubricated stabilizers, allow the Everest 60 to deliver deep sound and satisfying acoustics. This is also a hot-swappable keyboard, giving you the ability to swap 3-pin and 5-pin switches, if the Mountain ones aren’t your thing.

If you want to get a fantastic 60 percent keyboard with plenty of flexibility for a song, you shouldn’t miss this Amazon US deal on the Mountain Everest 60.
