DC prosecutors will not charge Enrique Tarrio after the arrest of the Capitol – NBC4 Washington

DC prosecutors declined to accuse the former leader of the proud children, Enrique Tarrio, later Police said he assaulted a woman who protested against the extreme right group outside the United States Capitol. Last month, the sources say.

Two sources told News4 that the United States prosecutor’s office for DC decided not to move forward with the case. They did not give a reason. In similar cases, the reasons are not typically provided.

Tarrio was convicted of sedicious conspiracy for his role in the attack of January 6. He was sentenced to 22 years in a federal prison and was released when Trump gave clemency to almost all the defendants in the attack.
