Teen seriously injured after his ATV rolls over outside Wheeling

WHEELING, Mo. (KCTV) – A teenage girl was seriously injured after a Polaris all-terrain vehicle rolled over on a county road outside of Wheeling.

He Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that around 2 pm on Thursday, October 24, emergency crews were called to the area of ​​Liv 236 and Spring St. near Wheeling with reports of an ATV collision.

When first responders arrived, they said they found a 15-year-old girl had been driving a 2015 Polaris Ranger west on LIV 236 when the ATV began sliding sideways. The vehicle left the south side of the road and struck a ditch where it rolled onto the passenger side.

State police said a 14-year-old woman who had been a passenger in the ATV was taken to Hedrick Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. NO further information has been released.
