Champion Speedway to host final race of the season and Halloween costume contest

OWEGO, NY (WBNG) — Champion Speedway will host its final race and Halloween costume contest on October 27.

Champion Speedway will have a Halloween costume contest at intermission, prizes are $100 for best adult costume and $75 for best under 21 costume.

There will be a tribute to quad bike racer, Lonni Whitmore, who passed away suddenly from cancer. Once the track is completed, the quads will meet on the main track towards Whitmore.

The gates open at 11:00 a.m. and the TT riders will exit first on the back track, followed by the Quads on their oval track at 1:00 p.m.
