A Douglas man who was convicted of causing death for driving dangerously has been given permission to appeal his conviction and sentence.

Jackson Joseph Paul was sentenced after a trial in the General Gaol delivery court in February and sentenced to six years in prison.

The death of the resident of Ochan, Jordan Thomas, followed after falling from the 35 -year BMW hood in Harbor Road on February 25, 2024.
