“From the robbery, I felt insecure in my own home. Knowing that a stranger invaded my personal space, crossed my belongings and had a total contempt for my privacy has left me feeling vulnerable and restless.

“Before this crime, I felt safe in my house. That feeling has now been destroyed.”

The businesswoman told the Court that she felt “attacked, observed and exploited” by the thief and added: “Her repetition orientation of my property has changed the way I live my life. What used to feel like a safe and safe space now feels vulnerable.”

Brady had urged the Court to consider the “total scope of the damage” and the “psychological cost” of Adnane’s crimes and said: “I have intensified my safety, I put the alarm during the day, double the doors and had safety lights adjusted at a considerable cost for me.”
