The man wanted in the action of the mafia, the aggravated battery is loaded after 1 person seriously injured in Carbondale

Carbondale, Ill. (KFVS) – Police are looking for a holiday in relation to a battery investigation in Carbondale.

They are looking for Chanton L. Lee, 21, of Elizabethtown, Illinois.

Lee is sought in the action of the mafia and aggravated battery charges.

According to Carbondale Police, the officers were called around 11:33 pm on March 4 for a report of a battery incident in the 600 block of South Illinois Avenue.

When the officers arrived, they informed having found a victim on the ground and unconscious with serious injuries. The victim was taken to a Carbondale hospital to receive treatment.

Police said his investigation led to identify three suspects: Lee, James M. Shannahan, 19, from Carbondale, and a 17 -year -old man, also from Carbondale.

Officers and detectives arrested Shanahan and the adolescent.

Shanahan was admitted to Jackson County prison in the action of the Mafia and aggravated battery charges.

The 17 -year -old was arrested for an aggravated use of an aggravated weapon and battery charges. He was hired in a Youth Detention Center.

Until Thursday, March 20, the police said Lee has not been found.
