Alabama basketball Mark Sears He will face one of his old teammates on Friday, when Crimson Tide plays Robert Morris. Kam Woods, who played Aau with Sears, is the top scorer of the colonials.

Woods, talking to journalists on Thursday before the first round confrontation in the NCAA tournament, was asked what he remembered about the UA shipowner.

Woods shared what he thought were the keys to achieve the unlikely.

“Doing things that made us win the Horizon League tournament,” Woods said. “Take care of our bodies. Rest knowing that it is an early game. That is the time we practice, so I feel that we will be well prepared for that time. And simply eliminating all the distractions.

Woods has averaged 15.1 points per game so far this season, along with 5.1 assists and 4.6 rebounds. He obtained the honors of the All-Borizon League of the second team.

Alabama and Robert Morris are scheduled to warn at 11:40 AM CT in Rocket Arena in Cleveland. The winner of the game will face the winner of Vanderbilt-Saint Mary’s.
