According to the reports, a Vancouver Canucks prospect that is currently in the NCAA intends to return to university in autumn for at least one more season.

During a recent interview with Max Miller of Shark hockey digestMacklin Celebini revealed that his brother Aiden does not intend to sign with the Vancouver Canucks this low season and will return to the Boston University for the 2025-26 campaign.

“Macklin told SHD that Aiden does not intend to sign with Vancouver during the 2025 season, since he will remain in school.” Max Miller said.

Celebini also gave a mini exploration report about his brother Aiden, saying that he is developing quite well in a defensive defense and that it would be “really great” to see him in a pairing with Quinn Hughes in the future.

“It has developed very well. He is a defensive defender, enclosure, and is good in what he does,” Macklin Celebini said about his brother.

Celebini, 20, was selected in the sixth round, 171 in general by the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL 2023 entrance draft after a strong season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) with the Brooks Bandits.

In 26 games so far this season, the Native of Vancouver has registered six points (one goal, five assists), 12 minutes of penalty and is an eight plus.

Celebini, Tom Willander and Boston University will return to the 1 PM PT today while facing UConn in the semifinals of the East 2025 hockey male hockey tournament.
