More: Oklahoma denies clemency for the convicted murderer, the inmate of the death corridor

Grissom has been in the death corridor for almost 17 years for the random murder of Amber Matthews of 23 years in Blaine County in 2005.

Grissom prosecutors described this crime as brutal and meaningless during a violent invasion of the house.

Attorney General Gentner Drummond described this as a case of death penalty “textbook”.

Wendell Grissom was declared guilty in 2005 and sentenced to death for shooting and killing the 23 -year -old Ambar Matthews and firing the friend of Amber Dreu Kopf inside Kopf’s house near Watonga.

The murder was described in the courtroom in the trial as random and brutal.

The prosecutors say that Grissom and a autoestopist attacked the Blaine County house, which they chose randomly.

The prosecutors say that Grissom was laughing while shooting women inside the house.

Kopf was shot several times, but could escape, but Grisom shot and killed Amber while protecting two young children.

At the Clemencia Audience of Grissom, his lawyers did not dispute Grisom’s fault, but said he suffers from brain damage.

The Board of Forgiveness and Probation voted to deny the Clemencia of Grissom.

Grissom will execute in the State Penitentiary, on Thursday at 10 am
