The Kings fight in a great victory over the gentlemen

On a day in which the Kings of Sacramento I received late news that Zach Lavine and Jake Laravia would be against the best team in the League, in addition to the news of Sabonis Domantas, he felt like the confrontation against the Cleveland Cavaliers I could have finished.

And then the Kings were left behind early since they could not buy a cube, following 7-20 nine minutes in the game.

But the Kings did not give up, fighting to win 123-119 in a noisy Golden Center 1. They continued playing defense, moved the ball and did not let the lost shots affect them.

The defensive statistics of nine robberies and a block do not do the justice of the defense of the Kings. They were physicists in defense and assets in the passing lanes.

Three of those robberies belonged to the rookie Devin Carter, who easily had his best game as a NBA player. Carter finished the night with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and the 3 robberies in 6 of 11 (54.5%) of the field.

The confidence that Doug Christie had to leave Carter to close the game is extremely impressive. He has shown the propensity to train in the sensation, and tonight did exactly that.

Demar Derozan led the Kings with 27 points, but it was a balanced approach with seven players in double figures. The Kings moved the ball, ending with their magical assists of 28. Malik Monk led the way with eight assists and Trey Lyles had a surprising five from the bank.

Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell had great games, with 31 and 26 points each, but the Kings made their lives difficult throughout the night with a solid defensive pressure. The important part was that the Kings surpassed the cavs beyond the arch.

The Kings ended the night 16 of 35 (45.7%) from beyond the arch, compared to 13 of 34 (38.2%) for Cleveland. On a night when Zach Lavine, the best three -point shooter of the Kings, was out, is extremely impressive that the Kings exceed the best three -point shooting team in the league.

Tonight was a reminder that the Kings have the talent to make noise on any night. When their defense is lit and are hitting shots, they are almost impossible to overcome. There is something in this team where the defense magically elevates the offensive, and when it works, it works very well.

With only 14 remaining games in the season, it is the perfect time for the Kings to enclose their identity with the progress of the postseason.
