Woman arrested after an injured man in southwest Shooting Edmonton

A person was shot but not seriously injured in southwest Edmonton on Tuesday.

Police responded to a weapon complaint at 5:49 pm around Oeming Road and Bulyea Road.

When the officers arrived, they located a suspicious woman and a man who suffered non -mortal gunshot wounds.

The woman was arrested without incident and the man was taken to the hospital. Police say that the suspect and the victim knew each other.

An investigation is underway.
