The Word of Words explodes in Rajya Sabha about the courts of CBI

In a burning exchange during a Session of Rajya Sabha, Interior Minister Amit Shah criticized the Western Bengal Government for not establishing any special CBI court, which affirms that it is preventing justice in the cases presented after violence after the elections.

Shah’s replica occurred in response to the comments of the TMC Sake Gokhale member, who alleged that 6,900 CBI cases were presented without any convictions. Shah clarified that these cases arose from judicial orders and were not all related to corruption.

The session caused tension, which led President Jagdeep Dhankhar to intervene when Gokhale’s comments were considered “personal” against Shah, emphasizing the need for decorum in parliamentary debates.
