Westcliffe, Colorado (KKTV) – The case against a man accused of shooting and killing three people in a southern mountain city is under review. On Tuesday, a judge questioned that the case against Hanme Clark After accepting that the previous district prosecutor was not managed efficiently, Linda Stanley. Stanley was inhibited last year. It is something that Westcliffe’s locals say they hope to close.

“Everyone deserves justice,” Brice said, a place in Westcliffe.

Clark was arrested in November 2023 after Robert and Beth Wade Geers and James Daulton’s shots. Supposedly it happened on a dispute of the earth.

“I know a guy who is a topograph and refused to take the job.

Clark’s case has been entering and leaving the Custer County Court for months. Now, a judge failed to reopen a preliminary hearing quoting that the defense did not receive all the evidence of the State in a timely manner by Stanley.

Stanley also prosecuted the high profile case against Barry Morphew, who was once accused of killing his wife. Those charges have been removed. The newly elected district prosecutor for the 11th Judicial District is Jeff Lindsey. He is in charge of the prosecution for the Clark case now. During the Court on Tuesday, Lindsey said: “This is the type of case that requires significant supervision and that did not happen.” He also declared: “If this case had proceeded, this could have been another morph.”

For now, Clark will remain in the town county jail.

The judge will review new information on the interrogation and the evidence of the preliminary hearing before making a decision on the course of the case.

Clark is presumed innocent until it is demonstrated that it shows it.
