Man arrested for rapeing minor after meeting in Lucknow

The ACP said that when the girl returned home bleeding, her parents took her to a nearby hospital, from where she was referred to the King George University of Medicine. “The minor is stable and conscious,” said the ACP.

Meanwhile, the police said they launched a search for the defendant.

Police Deputy Commissioner (EAST) Shashank Singh said: “Acting on a notice that the defendant, Mohammad Sarju, is trying to escape from Lucknow, Vibhutikhand police arrived at Hahnemann Crossing to stop him.
