According to prosecutors, Colon and Hathaway were visiting a house where two other men lived, and they all drugged. At some point during the night, Colon and Hathaway began a fight for punch. Columbus was winning the fight and Hathaway started screaming for help. The other two men broke the fight and things calmed down a little. But then the fight began again with “Colon hit and stab Hathaway until he was dead,” prosecutors said.

Columbus and one of the other men moved the body to the trunk of Hathaway car. Then they led to a vacant lot and lit it on fire. Fire teams took out the fire and discovered the remains. Hathaway’s body was unrecognizable since 80% of his remains were charged, prosecutors said.
