NFL DRAFT WHIZ predicts Drake Maye Landing ‘Powerful Weapon’ in the last drill

Daniel Jeremiah predicted the Patriots seriously updating your high -end talent in your last simulated draft.

The NFL Network Draft It has the New England’s writing through Travis Hunter at number 4 in general. In Jeremiah Mock Draft 3.0Heisman’s winner falls into Mike Vracabel’s lap because the Titans take the QB Cam Ward first, followed by Abdul Carter to the Browns, and the giants who carry the QB Shedeur Sanders to number 3 in general.

That leaves Hunter, who could be the most talented player in the draft, who is still sitting on the board when the patriots are on the clock.

“To the reinforcement of the offensive line would seem to be the obvious movement here for the Patriots, but it would be difficult to let a talent as unique as Hunter.” Jeremiah writes. “It would immediately be his most powerful weapon for Drake Maye.”

If the Patriots wrote Hunter, it would be fascinating to see how the defense and the star’s container would be deployed. Experts believe that Hunter is more likely to land at the corner of the NFL, but the Patriots have a much greater need on the offensive side of the ball.

New England lacks wide receptors No. 1 and No. 2, while they have a corner All-Pro in Christian González and just signed Carlton Davis as a second solid option. In an interview with the team’s website, the EVP of Personal Personnel Eliot Wolf said that the Patriots had multiple exploration reports about Hunter.

“Not to give anything, but Matt Groh really wrote two separate exploration reports on him when he went to Colorado this year,” Wolf said. “He has an open receiver report and an corner report. He is the only one who did that. Everyone others tried to put everything in the space we have. But it is difficult when you are talking about a player who does so many different things to try to adapt to everything there.”
