Andhra Pradesh Cid takes the custody of actor posani to interrogate

The Cid de Andhra Pradesh took the actor and former leader of the YSRCP Posani Krishna Murali on Tuesday to interrogate him in a case registered against him for making derogatory comments against the main minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the vice minister minister Pawan Kalyan and the minister of Ti Nara Lokesh.

After arresting Posani from the jail, the CID transferred him to the General Government Hospital, Gunter for his medical examination. He was later taken to the Cid office to interrogate him.

On Monday, the sixth additional Junior judge in Guntur sent Posani to the police custody of a day. He has been in jail since his arrest of Hyderabad on February 26.

Although the actor obtained the bond in several cases registered against him in different police stations, he had to remain in jail after the CID last week took him from Kurnol to Guntur with an order of transport of prisoners (PT) and produced in a court, which sent him to judicial custody for 14 days.

El Cid registered a case against Posani in October last year about a complaint by a leader of the Telugu Desam (TDP) party.

Posani, who also served as president of the AP Cinema Development Corporation, has been reserved in sections 111, 196, 353, 299, 341 and 336 (3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

After his arrest of Hyderabad on February 26, Posani was taken to the district of Annamayya, where a case was recorded against him for allegedly trying to create animosity between several sections of society. He was sent to judicial custody.

Later, the actor was taken to Kurnool with a PT order in relation to a case recorded by the Adoni Police. He was transferred to jail in Kurnol and was then taken to Vijayawada in a PT order in relation to another case.

Although the courts gave him bail, he remained in jail after the CID transferred the court by a PT order.

YSRCP said the government led by Chandrababu registered 17 cases against Posani due to “political revenge.”

The opposition party accused the government of the “conspiracy” NDA to deny the legal relief, and the police recorded cases throughout the State after their arrest and “deliberately retain” details where the cases were presented to hinder the bail efforts.

The government sought PT guarantees in each case, forcing Posani to be transported hundreds of kilometers, from Hyderab to Vijayawada through Rajampet, then to Narsaraopet, Guntur, Adoni in the Kurnol district, back to Suryaraopet in Vijayawada, to Kurnol and finally to Gugur, the Ysrcp said.

Despite being 67 years old and suffering from heart problems and other health problems, the police submitted Posani to harassment, supposedly as part of a government strategy to worsen their condition, the opposition party said.
