Ryan and Adam are the faces of the new ITV Game Program

Ryan and Adam Thomas They are back on our screens, but this time, they are exchanging soap operas for the madness of the game show.

The brothers – Ryan, 40, better known for playing Jason Grimshaw in CORONATORY STREETand Adam, 36, who played Adam Barton in Emmerdale – They are facing ITVV The new 99 star schedule program to win, and trust us, is an absolute chaos. With 100 contestants fighting in strange challenges, think about catching a dad in a fork and deconcing the frozen shirts, the show is fast, unpredictable and completely hilarious.

The eight -part series begins with 100 players, and spectators will continue while they face. After each round, the number of contestants is gradually reduced, and only one person takes the Superior Prize of £ 25,000. “It’s stupid, silly, random, competitive and everything we love,” Ryan tells us.

While the couple has acquired their fair part of the reality shows (I am a strictly celebrity, Older brother), Accommodation is a completely new ball game. Fortunately, his natural chemistry keeps things flowing. “We don’t take ourselves too seriously, we’ll just laugh!” Adam adds.

Here, they tell new about the show chaos and a return to Ryan to the cobblestones …

Hi guys! What made you want to be part of this game program?

Ryan: Oh, I mean, it is the perfect game program for us, it is stupid, silly, random, competitive … It is something we had never seen on television before.

How was it during filming? Did you get tense or emotional at some point?

Ryan: Well, as you can imagine with 100 contestants, start a little cheerful with all who support. But as the numbers become smaller, tension accumulates. You have 100 yoga balls that fall from the ceiling, contestants with bandaged eyes. It’s hilarious, do you think what am I really seeing? But as you advance, you really connect with the contestants and start supporting them. The beauty of this game is that anyone can play it, whether you are an 18 -year -old boy or an 80 -year -old woman.

How do they find working among them?

Ryan: That was the only thing I didn’t enjoy! (Laughs) honestly, that’s the cherry of the cake. Working with my little brother is a dream. I learn a lot from my brother. We have a natural connection and a chemistry to grow together, so it makes everything easier.

How did you feel organizing for the first time? You were surprised get the offer?

ADAM: Yes, organizing a star program program for ITV1 is a dream come true, not everyone understands. We were jumping with joy when we had the opportunity. Especially in ITV1: a platform we grew up, Ryan in Corrie and I in Emmerdale. We have been in so many reality shows among us Big Brother, I am a celebrity, strictly, we have marked each box, so it felt like the next natural step. The only place we had to go was Love IslandBut our wives would not be very happy for that!

How does your brother Scott feel about you two working together on this? Would you like to bring it?

Adam: Well, as the series progresses, Scott makes a little cameo, we couldn’t leave it out. We tried to work with him too that he did, so we asked if there was a way to involve him, and fortunately, they said yes. It was a special moment for the three.

The game program has a "squid game environment"
The game program has a “squid game atmosphere”

Can you give us a brief introduction to the program and some of the games that appear there?

Ryan: It has a type of squid game atmosphere, without the serious drama! He is cheerful and competitive, with 100 contestants and £ 25,000 at stake. The goal is simple: do not come at the end. If you come finally, you are out and there can only be a winner. Of every 100 we stayed with a winner. The games are ridiculous: catching a spud in a fork, defrosting a frozen shirt and putting it.

Adam: They are simple but fun, and anyone can play them. My children can play some of these at home.

There have been reports that some contestants were injured during the filming of the Game Program. Did you expect that?

Ryan: Yes, a girl twisted his ankle just while celebrating. It was very unfortunate because it took it out of the competition, and must have been devastated. But strange accidents occur in life, and it is a shame, but the show must continue.

Did you look at other game presenters to obtain advice or inspiration?

Adam: we grew up seeing the greats as ant and dec, and I have been lucky enough to work with them. But Ryan and I contribute a different dynamic to this: we are brothers, and that gives the program a unique sensation. It is good not to be compared to anyone.

Ryan: To be honest, we really don’t know what we are doing! (Laughs)

Adam: We don’t take ourselves too seriously, and the game is not shown either. We simply laugh and enjoy it as much as we can.

There are rumors that Ryan could be returning to Coronation Street. Can you confirm?

Ryan: Rumors are true. I received the call from Sue Cleaver Asking if he would return to a starting story. Coronation Street is where my career began, and I would not be where I am without it. I am very loyal where I come. I am excited to return to the cobblestones, although only for a short time. My children were not alive when I was in the program, so they will now see me in it, which is really special.

99 To win on Saturday, March 22 at 6pm at ITV1
