Update: flood warning issued for Hampden County for Tuesdays and Wednesday

On Monday at 3:09 pm, the National Meteorological Service issued an updated flood warning from Tuesday from 5 am to 10 pm for Hampden County.

The weather service establishes: “Minor floods are forecast for the Connecticut river in Thompsonville.”

“At 15.0 feet, lowland floods will begin along the Connecticut river near Thompsonville,” says the weather service. “Turn around, do not drown when you find flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. The next statement will be issued at the end of tonight at 3:15 am”
