Teenager declares himself guilty in the case of murder of Oakland County, Bradley County.

One of the three teenagers charged in relation to the Murder of the deputy of the Oakland Bradley Reckling County Sheriff He has declared himself guilty.

Karim Blake Moore, 19, in the municipality of Clinton, declared himself guilty on Monday of carrying out a criminal company, receiving and hiding stolen properties (motor vehicle) and firearm severe crime. Moore declared himself guilty during a final conference.

Wayne County prosecutors say Moore will be sentenced to three to 20 years in prison, as well as two consecutive years for the crime of firearms.

Moore, along with Raymone Raylee Debose, by Clinton Township, and Marquis Lamar Goins, from Detroit, were accused in relation to Reckling’s murder.

Reckling, 30, was shot dead on June 22, 2024, while following a stolen vehicle from Red Oaks aquatic park in Madison Heights. Preliminary investigation shows that Reckling located the vehicle stolen in Detroit and was behind him when the driver suddenly stopped and the individuals left the vehicle and opened fire.

The Oakland County Sheriff, Michael Bouchard, said the shooting was an “ambush.” The memory was driving an unmarked vehicle that did not have a board camera.

Prosecutors claim that a gun shot from the stolen vehicle, fatally hitting Reckling.

According to Wayne County prosecutor, Kym Worthy, Reckling began investigating a car theft ring in November 2023 with which the three suspects were associated. The robbery ring covered three counties and concluded that the night, Reckling, was killed.

The robbery ring resulted in at least four car thefts, four more robberies of vehicles and eight charges of arms charges that are transported in vehicles.

Benjamin He was a nine -year -old veteran from the department and a graduate from Romeo High School. He left a wife and four children.

Moore will be sentenced on May 2, 2025.
