Gillingham v Walsall: The Saddlers decide against the postponement of League Dos

League leaders Dos Walsall have chosen not to postpone Saturday’s trip to Gillingham even though they have three regular customers of the first team in international service.

Stoke City goalkeeper in Loan Tommy Simkin has been called by England Sub-21 for two friendlies against France (Saturday, March 21) and Portugal (Tuesday, March 24).

And almost two other teams almost always present, the right side Liam Gordon and defender David Okagbue have also been called.

Gordon has two Gold Cup games of Concacaf for Guyana against Guatemala (Sunday, March 22 and the second leg on Wednesday, March 26).

Okagbue, along with Ronan Maher, currently borrowed in neighbors who are not from the Tamworth League, and Darius Lipsiuc are all with the Republic of Ireland Sub-21 for friendlies against Scotland (March 21) and Hungary (March 24).

And Manchester United striker on the ticket, Ethan Wheatley, is outside the qualifiers of the European Championship of England (March 19), Turkey (March 22) and Portugal (March 25).

Walsall has also left the side of Ala Connor Barrett suspended by two games, after running 10 yellow cards.

The Mat Sadler Saddlers are still the best in League Dos, following the 2-2 draw on Thursday night in Bromley, three points away from Braford City in second place.

But now they are only free of six points of the Play-Off package, they have not won in five games. And they have achieved only three victories in 13 Games in the League two since the top scorer Nathan Lowe was forced to return to the Stoke Matrix Club in January.

Gillingham by John Coleman, who came from behind to draw 1-1 in Bescot last month, is 19, but now he has 12 danger points with 10 remaining games.
