SADA border shock

In a separate incident in Kasol, a group of tourists from Punjab, who travel approximately 20 motorcycles, caused a shock in the Sada barrier in the Manikaran Valley. The barrier, which charges a nominal rate for the maintenance of the area, became a point of inflammation when tourists supposedly refused to pay. The situation intensified when they broke the barrier and headed towards Manikaran.

An altercation broke out between tourists and a Jawan from the local guard near Bachat Bhawan. According to the report, the Jawan, identified as Yashpal, tried to regulate traffic when a group of eight to ten Punjab cyclists ignored his signal to stop. When he stopped in front of them to enforce traffic rules, there was a discussion, it quickly became 15 to 20 additional cyclists. The situation became violent when tourists allegedly attacked the officer.

The Kullu (SP) Karthikean Gokulchandran police superintendent confirmed that there has been a case against the group.
