Assistant murder attempt in Detroit flashing gunfire

An attempt to murder against a man accused of shooting a “good Samaritan” In the eyes with a Bengal gun was dismissed last week after the victim did not appear before the court, according to prosecutors.

Daryl Smith, 42, of Detroit, supposedly, was harassing an old woman on a Detroit bus at the end of February when a 33 -year -old man intervened and tried to help the woman, prosecutors said.

When Smith and the other man left the bus on Cass and Warren avenues, Smith supposedly took out a pistol out of his hood and shot her, hitting the man in the eyes, prosecutors said. Smith fled the scene, but police officers at Wayne State University arrested him shortly after, according to the statement.

The positions of murder attempt, the assault with the intention of doing great bodily damage less than the murder and criminal aggression were dismissed on Wednesday.
