A caregiver will spend the next 25 years in prison after sexually assaulting and impregnating a severely disabled woman who lives in the Illinois facilities, where she worked, according to prosecutors.

Isaiah Fields, 23, took advantage of the 43 -year -old woman with Rett syndrome, which makes her have the cognitive conditions of a baby, within the Marklund Hyde center between August 1, 2023 and September 5, 2023, Daily Herald reported.

“There is no reason or a set of experiences that can justify hurting anyone in some way,” according to the reports, the Sicko said in the Kane County Court as he tried to apologize to the victim’s family during his sentence on Friday.

The woman, who has lived in the center that serves disabled people since she was just over 20 years old, cannot read, write, speak or even endure, as well as consenting sex, prosecutors said, according to the newspaper.

The crime that revolts the stomach was only discovered when the woman was reviewed in a hospital due to liver and gallbladder problems, and doctors discovered that she had at least 31 weeks pregnant, the newspaper reported.

A baby was born the next day because the woman suffered from preeclampsia. The newborn died after spending 11 weeks in a neonatal intensive care unit.

“(The baby) did not live much in this world,” said prosecutor Matthew Rodgers during the sentence, the Daily Herald reported. “But simply when he arrived in this world, he did justice for his mother.”

The child’s DNA was matched with fields, which led to his positions, said the office of the state prosecutor of Kane County.
