Police launched CCTV’s investigation after ‘armed and masked gangs’ pursuing terrified students outside school

Police have launched a CCTV investigation after a ‘masked group that transports weapons’ after students outside a school earlier this week.

Since then, the West Midlands police launched an investigation while adhereting through CCTV after the alleged incident in Shannon Road in Kings Norton.

The force reached the close scene of Ark Kings Academy around 3.40 pm after receiving reports an alleged “masked gang” that were “students (ing)”.

No injuries have been reported from the incident. No one has been arrested as the police continue their investigations.

A police spokeswoman told him Birminghamlive: ‘We are investigating disorder reports in Shannon Road, Birmingham, around 3.40 pm on Monday (March 10).

‘A group of students reported being persecuted by another group that used masks and, according to the reports, carried weapons.

‘No injuries were reported.

‘We are reviewing CCTV and we will talk to the witnesses as our consultations to identify those involved continue.

“We are committed to addressing severe youth violence and continuing to work with local schools and schools to educate young people around the dangers of transporting weapons.”
