The case of Vadodara Hit-And-Hun has caused outrage throughout the country after a viral video showed Rakshit Chaurasia, 23, cutting a woman with her car for speeding. The incident took place in the Karelibauug area of Vadodara de Gujarat, around 12:30 am on Friday. The accident resulted in the death of a 34 -year -old woman and injuries to several others. In a last development, Rakshit has been sent to police pretrial detention for two days. During his appearance in a court, the police told the bank that they will interrogate why Rakshit shouted “another round” after the accident, and who was the girl whose name was taking repeatedly.

Rakshit was presented to the court on Saturday, which sent him to police custody until 4 pm on March 17.

One of the victims told Times now that he, his sister and his brother were trapped in the accident. They headed home from Sangam, near Amrapali, when the car of speeding beat them. “A car came from behind at a speed of 120, the road was empty, we hit us, we fell into different places, the brother fell somewhere and the sister fell elsewhere. My sister and I have fractures, while my brother is seriously injured. We couldn’t get up, they took us to the hospital in 108, ”said the victim.

Ashish Shah’s wife was one of the victims of the vadodara coup and career case. His wife was traveling with a scooter with his two children who received serious injuries in the accident.

In a complaint filed against Rakshit, Shah said: “First, he hit three people who were traveling on a two -wheeled wheel, then hit my wife’s active from behind in which my wife, my daughter and her son were seriously injured, after that he hit another couple who was traveling in an active one, they also seriously injured and the woman died. After being caught by the police, Rakshit denied having been drunk while driving. He said he was driving at a speed of 50 km / h, and lost control over his car after hitting a bump. Due to which his car touched a vehicle, which opened the airbags and hindered the vision. He admitted that it was his fault and insisted on knowing the families of the victims.

Rakhsit is a law student at the University of Vadodara de Maharaja Sayajirao. He comes from Varanasi de Uttar Pradesh, and lives in a PG accommodation in Vadodara. His father directs a plumbing business in the city.
