Climatic conditions on Sunday

Although the severe climate and the most intense tornado risk may have passed on Sunday, the threat will persist along the east coast, from northern Florida to the state of New York. Strong bursts of wind and heavy rains will be the main dangers, creating dangerous and potential management conditions causing interruptions in the main airports, including Charlotte, Washington, DC, Philadelphia and New York City.

While northern New York and New England can avoid generalized severe storms, they can expect strong rains and racing winds, which could lead to travel delays, sudden floods and power cuts.
