The Swiss skiing star Odermatt is ensured in general and the titles of the GS World Cup in the race won by his teammate Meillard

Hafjell, Norway (AP) – Marco Odermatt finished second behind the Swiss teammate Loic Meillard in a Slalom World Cup giant to formally block his fourth consecutive titles in general and GS. The only remaining challenger for the general title was Henrik Kristaffersen, but the Norwegian ended in 16th place. Odermatt extended its advantage to 635 points over Kristoffersen in the general classification with only five remaining events. The result also gave Odermatt an unsurpassed advantage in the GS classification. The Kristoffersen runner -up is behind 106 points with only the end of the season at the remaining World Cup finals.
