“What he is doing is extremely dangerous,” said Suffolk County Police Commissioner Kevin Catalina.

Yolany Mejia Carranza was arrested for operating a dentist office in full functioning outside a house on the coast of the bay without a license.

“We know that she used a localized anesthesia, but nobody received the necessary anesthesia for the complex dentist operations she was carrying out,” Catalina said.

Suffolk County Police Commissioner believes that the 55 -year -old man was doing all dental services, including root ducts and extractions.

Three alleged victims with injuries informed Carranza to the police.

“We have a person who suffered partial facial paralysis,” Catalina added.

In the Court, prosecutors said Carranza previously operated at Huntington station, but moved from that place when he thought they would catch her.

The dentist without a license was also pointing to his clientele, according to the police.

“We believe he was pointing to the Hispanic community, mostly people who had no medical insurance and many of whom can be in the country illegally,” said Catalina.

Carranza declares himself innocent of the charges against her. She is out of jail for supervised launch.
