Phoenix officer hurt seriously in a crash near the I-17 and Buckeye Road on the early Friday

Phoenix – A Phoenix police officer was among several people who were injured in an accident on Friday morning.

The collision occurred near the interstatal 17 and Buckeye Road around 12:45 am

The Phoenix Police says that two civil vehicles and a marked patrol vehicle of the Phoenix Police Department were involved in the accident, which turned out that the police vehicle turned around.

The officer was taken to a hospital with serious but not potentially mortal injuries. Two other adults who were in the other vehicles were also hospitalized with injuries that are not enhanceable.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
