3 killed in a frontal crash near Cornwall

The Provincial Police (OPP) of Ontario says that three people died and another wound seriously injured in a burning accident in County Road 2 in South Glengarry on Thursday night.

Police said in a press release that happened just after 9 pm in County Road 2 near McGibbon Road, east of Cornwall.

The researchers have so far determined that the driver of a car that went to the east crossed the central line. At least two pilots west deviated from the road, but finally there was a front accident that caused one of the vehicles to catch fire.

The three murdered people were declared dead at the scene, OPP said: a 16 -year -old girl from the municipality of Champlain, a 65 -year -old woman from Cornwall and a 44 -year -old man from Ottawa.

A 16 -year -old boy from Cornwall was transferred by plane to a hospital, police said.

The driver of the car that crossed the central line was killed, police said, like the driver and a passenger in the other vehicle. The injured child was in the vehicle west.

The police did not say which of the victims went to the east and none of their names was shared.

The scene is about 10 kilometers east of the Cornwall center already 95 kilometers southeast of the center of Ottawa. County Road 2 reopened during the night.
