The community of Ogun protest for the alleged imposition of monarch, seeks the intervention of Abiodun

The residents of the community of the smell in the area of the local government of northern Abeokuta of the state of Ogun have asked the state governor, Dapo Abiodun, to intervene in the alleged plan to impose a second Ogunsola Philip as the native of the smell.

They made the call on Wednesday while protested in the Secretariat of the Union of Journalists of Nigeria, Nuj, State Council of Ogun, in Oke-Ilwo, Abeokuta.

The residents were armed with banners that carried several inscriptions such as “Ogunsola is not smelling”, “you do not turn the smell into a war zone”, “it can never be updated”, “there is an existing baale in smell”, and “the government should begin to listen to the poor and helpless in Obaship’s problems.”

While asking Governor Abiodun to intervene and avoid a breakdown of the law and order in the community, they argued that Ogunsola was from Gbagura Land and not from the community of Odorunda.

Speaking with journalists, the Secretary of the Kesan Orile/Smell community, Chief Oguntade Johnson, declared that the demonstration was to express his complaints and the rejection of Ogunsola as his monarch.

Johnson said Ogunsola, if installed by the state government, would cause chaos and bloodshed.

He said: “First of all, I want to congratulate our governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his excellent performance in the state of Ogun and his commitment to guarantee the safety of lives and property.

“The reason we are here today is the theme of smell. Smell is under Yewa in the local government of northern Abekuta. We only install a baale in smell and not a king. We already have a acting baale; His name is Chief Ashamu Adegbola Agbomabiwo. Smell is not under Gbagura.

“We are asking the state government to intervene in the matter because we are listening to that some people want to impose an Ogunsola Philip to us as a monarch in the smell. Ogunsola is not the son of the ground. We do not want war or murders, and that is why we are calling the state government.

“We are calling the commissioner for the local government and the issues of Headquarters, Hon. Ganiu Hamzat; the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Hon Oluwashina Ogungbade; the police commissioner, CP Lanre Ogunlowo; and the commander of Amotekun’s body, Brig. Gen. Alade Adedigba (RTD), to intervene in the matter. We do not want the war in smell. We are peaceful and peaceful people. “

Also speaking, Kesan Orile’s youth leader, Oyeyemi Abegunrin, revealed that Ogunsola was never a baale and cannot be updated to the state of a king, saying that there is an existing baale, Chief Ashamu Agbomabiwo, who is under Omola of the Earth of Imala.

“Ogunsola according to never a baale. It can never be updated to the state of a king. Smell is not egbaland; It is Yewa’s land. Ogunsola Philip is not an indigenous smell; He is from Egbaland, and smelling is under the land of Yewa. Can you see now that you can’t govern us in the smell?

“We want to resort to the government of the state of Ogun to come to our aid to address this issue so that it does not lead to a crisis in the community. We are peaceful, but we will not allow non -indigenous people to govern us. ”
