The ministers are considering changing the law to force politicians convicted of sexual crimes of their position after a former Wes Streeting assistant admitted that it shows a terrified teenage schoolgirl.

Sam Gould, 33, was fired as a social worker of the constituency by the Secretary of Health and expelled for the work after he declared himself guilty of two positions of indecent exhibition on Monday.

But he is refusing to resign as a councilor at the Redbridge Council in East London, despite the Court hearing that he followed a 13 -year -old girl in the street after she saw him commit a sexual act in a car.

Streeting has asked Gould, who remained unsuccessfully as a Labor deputy in Romford in 2015, to leave his role as councilor of Hainault.

But there is currently no legal way to force him to get out of the role in which he receives an assignment of £ 10,138 a year of the taxpayer.

Now, the Vice Prime Minister and Secretary of the Local Government, Angela Rayner, is considering changing the law after a meeting with the Secretary of Health, said The Sun.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Housing and the local government, who directs, said: ‘The councilors who commit serious misconduct must take into account.

“This government is taking solid measures with new plans elaborated to introduce suspension powers for serious infractions of the code of conduct.”

Streeting said in a statement: “There are no words to express my horror that a mother and her daughter have been put by this terrible experience, and they will have to deal with trauma for some time.

‘As soon as they informed me of his arrest, he was suspended, and as soon as the statement of guilt was presented, I took immediate measures to fire him through official human resources processes.

‘There are no excuses for their terrible behavior. I ask you again to resign as a councilor of Redbridge immediately.

The girl had been on her way to meet a group of friends on Saturday when she saw the 33 -year -old woman perform a sexual act, The sun reported.

He immediately escaped to see the Labor Councilor, who then followed her to a dead end in Romford, East London.

Then he began hitting the doors to seek help desperately before a motorist passed to his aid.

The driver also scored the registration number of the offender, which meant that the police could track Gould and arrest him later that day.

He was accused of two separate positions of indecent exposure: the second related to another incident that involved a 25 -year -old woman in Horchurch last month.

Gould appeared in the Barkingside magistrates on Monday, where he declared himself guilty of both positions. He has been released on bail and must be sentenced in the same court on April 7.

LEADER OF THE REDBRIDGE COUNCIL, CLLR KAM RAI, added ‘unfortunately there is no process for his council suspension … FMoving away the inexcusable betrayal of its residents, the Council and our community in general, it is correct that Gould immediately resign as a councilor and in front of justice.
