Lincoln Man arrested months after Fiery or Street Crash that seriously injured three

Lincoln, Neb. (Koln) – Lincoln man accused of driving recklessly on the street in Lincoln and crashing into a truck, causing a Burning scene In November 2024, he was arrested on Wednesday.

Lincoln police arrested Jayden Blake, 20, for a suspected charge of operating a motorized vehicle to avoid arrest and two assault charges in the second degree.

On November 23, 2024, a Lincoln police officer tried to stop the driver of a Dodge charger who rapidly accelerates near the streets 84 and O. However, Blake, the driver, accelerated west in the street or and the officer did not pursue the vehicle due to security concerns, according to the police.

The officer arrived in the streets 70 and a few minutes later, where the charger had collided with a Murano Nissan and caught fire.

Blake and two people in the SUV were rescued from their vehicles and transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

In a protection order presented by Blake on Tuesday, he alleges that he had been harassed by a woman for previous weeks and the day of the accident. According to Blake’s claims in the order, harassment contributed directly to his mental state in the moments before the collision.

The previous judicial documents show that Blake was accused of participating in a speed contest last year and was on probation at the time of the burning accident. It was released at the end of January after completing the conditions of its probation judgment.
