1 murdered, seriously injured in the clash of Anoka

A woman was killed and a man was seriously injured in an accident on Monday night in the city of Anoka.

According to the Sheriff’s Office of the County of Anaka, the first to respond were called to the accident around 6:30 pm in the 1000 block of North Street.

The authorities say that a man was driving west minivan in North Street when he crashed into a sedan that was heading east. Despite the first aid, the sedan driver, a woman, was declared deceased in the scene.

The Minivan driver was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

None of the drivers have been identified at this time.
