Nueva Delhi: A heated moment was developed in the Lok Sabha when the deputy of BJP Bishnu Pada Ray lost the stirrups, which led to the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju to intervene and pacify it. Ray, who represents the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, seemed visibly agitated and directed his frustration towards the bjp chief, Whip Sanjay Jaiswal.

Sitting in the treasure banks, Ray raised his voice, drawing the attention of other members. Rijiju quickly approached him in an attempt to calm the situation, while BJP deputy Jagdambika Pal also urged him to remain calm. However, Ray replied abruptly to the intervention of Pal.

The opposition took the moment to dig in the ruling party. Aimim’s head, Asaduddin Owaisi, commented that Ray’s voice was being suffocated and asked the chair to allow him to speak.

Later, Ray seemed to have recovered his composure and actively counteracted to the parliamentarians of the Congress during discussions on complementary demands for grants, excess subsidies and Manipur’s budget.
