Carter County man flew to the hospital after a single vehicle accident

Ellsinore, Mo. (KFVS) – A man from southeast of Missouri was seriously injured after a single vehicle accident in Carter County.

According to the report of the road patrol accident of the state of Missouri, the accident occurred around 5 pm on Thursday, March 6. The vehicle was west in Noble Street in Ellsinore.

The accident occurred after a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche hit a building, a mailbox and a parked car before hitting a tree and resting.

The driver, a 49 -year -old Ellsinore man, was seriously injured in the accident. He was transported by AIR EVAC to the St. Francis hospital in Cape Girardeau.

According to the road patrol, the driver did not carry a security device at the time of the accident.
