Police investigation was launched at the ‘suspicious’ death of Boy, 15, found seriously injured in Glasgow Street | United Kingdom News

An investigation into the “suspicious” death of a 15 -year -old boy in Glasgow has been launched.

Police Scotland He said he was alerted to a report by a severe person on Clarendon Street around 10.30 pm on Wednesday.

Emergency teams attended, but the adolescent was declared dead on the scene.

The force said that death is currently being treated as “suspicious” as consultations continue to establish complete circumstances.

The Superintendent of Detectives Cheryl Kelly said: “While formal identification has not yet taken place, we have talked to the child’s family and we will continue to provide specialized support in this distressing moment.”

Investigative officers have been making door to door consultations and gathering CCTV images from the surrounding area.

Anyone with relevant dashcam is established, private CCTV or timbre footage to present themselves.

Chief Inspector Colin Maclucas, the local commander of the area, added: “I understand that residents in the area will be very concerned after this incident, however, I can assure you that we are working very closely with our detective colleagues to establish the circumstances and I can assure you that there will continue to be a visible presence in the area in the area.

“I would urge anyone with questions, concerns or information to approach the officers who are there to help.”
