NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers becomes the first team to reserve 2025 Play-off place

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Miami Heat 112-107 on Wednesday night to become the first team to reserve a place in the NBA play-offs.

The Heat opened a seven -point advantage in the last quarter, but the Cavaliers set up a late return to seal their victory in the twelfth consequent.

The victory means that the Cavaliers, who have lost only 10 of their 62 games this season, have assured their place in the later season although there are still 20 games to play in the regular season.

“He took a collective effort as a group, but we have to be better,” said Donovan Mitchell, who improved for the Cavaliers with 26 points.

“However, it is always good to learn through a victory.”
